Do I Need Both?
If you work as an EMT in Orange County, you need to have both- the State EMT Certification and the Orange County Ambulance Driver/Attendant License.
Licensing Information Desk
If you plan to complete your application in person you must make an appointment and complete the EMT Certification/Accreditation Application prior to coming to your appointment. You must bring copies of all of the required documentation as OCEMS does not make copies.
OCEMS open for “Appointment Only” EMT Certification/Accreditation Tuesdays and Thursdays 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
EMT applicants must contact our office at (714) 834-3500 to schedule an appointment with the OCEMS Licensing Desk to submit their application for processing.
NO CASH or Personal Checks accepted. Payment by Visa, Master Card, Discover Card, American Express, or Debit Cards with the Visa/MC logo. Money order or cashier’s check payable to “County of Orange” will be accepted.
